This set contains:

• Four (4) copies of eight (8) titles of 6” x 6” paperback children’s picture books to support families with children birth to 3 years old (a total of 32 books)

• Two (2) copies of two (2) titles of 5” x 5” paperback children’s picture books to support families with children 4 to 6 years old (a total of 4 books)

• One tip card for the provider with talking points and helpful information about the importance of access to relevant books and a daily habit of reading in homes throughout the community.

The Community Book Set is ideal for childcare providers, preschools, churches, direct-service nonprofit organizations, small businesses and anyone in the community who serves families with young children. Book sets help promote literacy and support families by giving them some of the tools they need to grow a love of learning and reading.

*This set also can be part of a larger community-based program to support more intensive family engagement initiatives and help build a wider, community distribution network. Additional costs for a community-based Unite Growing Readers program would apply.
